By mid 2019 my husband was recovering from his second brain surgery. The surgery was well over 7 hours and left my husband with no short-term memory, mobility issues, and cognitive deficits. I was devastated, heartbroken, and desperate for help. Cliff's healing process was painfully slow, and he required constant supervision. I reached out to the public for resources and facilities that could possibly help my husband. The Abigayle is one of the few options that was suggested. My husband was only 43 at the time so I knew his young age would be a factor in placement somewhere. I called and spoke with Tonya the next day. She listened thoughtfully as I filled her in on our unique situation. She was like a ray of sunshine to my soul as she spoke about what her facility could offer to my husband. The next day I brought Cliff to tour. After walking through the doors and witnessing the kindness, love, and help that enveloped this facility, I knew in my heart THIS was the right place for Cliff. The staff welcomed the both of us with open arms. Tonya kept me well informed of the day's events. I knew in my heart that Cliff was being well taken care of, nurtured, and loved.
